LLANO APPOINTED TO EXPRESSWAY AUTHORITY
Governor Jeb Bush recently appointed Cesar Llano to the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority. Llano, president of Land Development for Century HomeBuilders, began his four-year term on April 23.
Llano joined Century HomeBuilders in 1998 and previously served as vice president of Century HomeBuilders, Inc. He directs all aspects of land development, including acquisition studies, site planning, zoning and platting.
"I am honored to have been appointed to such a prestigious position by Governor Bush," said Llano. "I am confident that the Expressway Authority will help to address the many transportation issues that currently confront our community."
Llano has more than 14 years of experience in the home building industry, including a position as project manager where he supervised the construction and development of homes.
He holds a bachelor's degree in architecture from Tulane University and is a Certified General Contractor. He is a director of the Latin Builders Association and a member of the Builders Association of South Florida. Llano lives in Coral Gables with his wife Vivian and their three children.

Century HomeBuilders is engaged in the design, construction and sale of single-family homes and townhomes in South Florida. The company has eight communities in Miami-Dade and Broward counties with more than 700 homes currently under construction. The company is headquartered at 7270 N.W. 12 Street.
